About Curve Rush IO
Curve Rush IO takes the solo hill-rolling formula of Curve Rush and turns it into a real-time multiplayer race. Up to several players roll their balls across the same curved hill track simultaneously, each applying the same hold-release-hold timing mechanic, but now competing to reach the highest distance or survive the longest. Seeing opponent balls launch at different angles across the same hill makes the individual timing decisions feel much more charged — a perfect launch that your opponent flubs is instantly visible as they fall behind.
The room system is the key social feature. Quick Play drops you into an active public lobby immediately. Private rooms generate a shareable Room ID that you send to friends — everyone who enters that code joins the same race instance. This makes it suitable for synchronous friend sessions where you want to race against known opponents rather than random strangers. Private rooms can also be used for practice if you want an empty lobby to work on timing without competition pressure.
The multiplayer dynamic subtly changes optimal strategy compared to the solo game. In solo Curve Rush, patience and perfect timing are always optimal. In the IO version, the visual of opponents pulling ahead can push players into rushed releases that sacrifice arc height for perceived urgency — which usually ends the run earlier. Staying disciplined to your own timing rhythm regardless of what others are doing is a core mental skill the IO version develops.
Curve Rush IO retains all the cosmetic ball skins from the base game, and your chosen skin is visible to all players in the room. The live leaderboard on the side updates continuously, showing each player's current distance and whether they are still in the run or have crashed.

How to Play
- 1Select Quick Play to join a public lobby, or create a Private Room and share the Room ID with friends.
- 2When the race starts, hold to build speed on each downslope and release at the crest to launch your ball.
- 3Hold again in the second half of your descent to guide the ball into a smooth landing — hard landings end your run.
- 4Watch the live leaderboard to track your position against other players still in the race.
- 5Reach the greatest distance before crashing to win the round. The last ball still rolling takes the top spot.
Tips & Tricks
- Ignore what opponents are doing when timing your own launches — the most common IO mistake is rushing the release after watching someone else gain distance.
- In private rooms, establish who has the best run first, then study their timing visually — multiplayer makes it possible to see optimal vs. suboptimal launches side-by-side.
- Clean mid-height launches beat risky maximum-height attempts in competitive play. A controlled landing that extends your run beats a spectacular crash.
- If you create a private room for just yourself, you get an uninterrupted practice environment without the Quick Play lobby forcing a start.

FAQ
Create a Private Room, copy the Room ID, and share it with friends. Everyone who enters that ID joins the same race instance.
Public lobbies typically fill with several players automatically. Private rooms support multiple concurrent players — exact capacity depends on server conditions.
Ball skins selected in the IO version are visible to room opponents, but skin unlocks are tracked per version. Check the in-game shop for unlocking options within Curve Rush IO.
The live room leaderboard shows results per session. There is no persistent ranked ladder — each race session produces its own leaderboard.
